Within the GayTalk groups on Telegram, partner groups and the GayTalk website we work together to keep this a safe place. You should be able to talk here without intimidation or trouble.

We expect you to treat others with respect. Accept each other. Make sure everyone feels safe.

Do you see intimidation, bullying or other harmful behavior. Report it to the admins right away. Do not wait. Without your report we cannot take action.

General tips

• Never share your address or other personal details.
• Do not meet someone at your home right away.
• Meet in a neutral, public place.
• Do not share photos that show your address, school, workplace or other recognizable details.

Telegram tips

• Hide your phone number.
• Set a username with an at sign.
• When reporting a user, always include the at username or Telegram ID.
• You can find your Telegram ID using the Get Telegram ID bot.

Hide your phone number:

By default your phone number may be visible. Turn this off.

How to do it:

• Open the menu in the top right.
• Go to Settings.
• Choose Privacy and Security.
• Tap Phone Number.
• Select Nobody.
